Ephebodontics is the term coined for adolescent dentistry in the April 1969 issue of Dental Clinics of North America. The case series comprises of three special clinical situations in which implants supported restorations were used in young, growing patients. Each case is supported with rationale and drawbacks. Introduction: • Implants in growing patients • Skeletal maturity and growth considerations • Potential complications of implants in growing patients Case 1: Implants in Hypohidrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia • 8 y/o male missing multiple maxillary and mandibular teeth • Four implants in mandibular anterior segment supporting a prosthesis split at the midline Case 2: Implants in Hydrotic Ectodermal Dysplasia • 12 y/o male missing maxillary anterior teeth and all mandibular teeth. • Restored with maxillary partial denture and mandibular implant supported overdenture. Case 3: Implants in Reconstructed Maxilla • 17 y/o male with history of maxillectomy at the age of 3 years, following cancer. • Orthodontic and orthognathic therapy • Maxillary reconstruction with fibula with implant placement • Clinical challenges and prosthesis design considerations • Screw retained zirconia crowns and bridges
