Why decisions made during implantoprosthetic treatment are not always straightforward? About compromises including biological and functional factors as well as patient’s expectations. Implantoprosthetic treatment in a case of previous implantologic treatment co-existing with vast bony defects is burdened not only with technical issues, but the need of compromised decisions to be made as well. I am presenting a case of a patient where following problems: lack of bony support, periimplantitis in a mandible, unfovourable position of remaining teeth and skeletal class III malocclusion due to maxillary hipoplasia were necessary to address in order to supply a patient with implant supported fixed prosthetic restoration. Solutions chosen, despite compromises acomplished with the patient ivolved in a treatment process, allowed for reaching favourable face ethetics, tremendous function and comfort of life improvement with a use of fixed restoration preserving dental implants already existing in oral cavity.
