Expectation has always been important subject when treating patients, in the last years social networking has given even more importance. As we started showing cases on internet, patients have acquired information around the world of different choices and possibilities of treatments. Now, patients come searching treatments with higher esthetic results in less amount of time. In this case we have the challenge to give the adequate solution to one of those patients. Patient is a healthy young female complaining about esthetic discomfort and mobility in teeth 2.2 – 2.3. Clinical and tomographic diagnose found a fixed bridge teeth 2.2 – 2.3, occlusal trauma, grade III mobility and periodontal defect on tooth 2.4. After reviewing the different options with the patient and the risks of the treatment with the SAC we choose a treatment plan in which we can make only one surgery and cover all the different needs, both of the case and the patient. Our treatment choice: Extraction 2.2 Guided IIP of 2.2 and 2.3. Periodontal regeneration 2.4 GBR. Soft tissue augmentation. As we didn’t achieve enough NCM on implant 2.2 for immediate loading, we focus on achieving an excellent regeneration and having a beautiful tissue to work with. Conclusion After 3 years follow up we have satisfactory and stable results. When choosing for a treatment plan we always have a lot of options, Dr Zucchelli and Dr. Testori write in their papers “More than osseointegration, the patient expect optimal esthetic results with a concomitant, if possible, of shortening the treatment plan”. That idea has been in my mind for the last few years, trying to make everything for the patient easier, and with the aid of the digital world and the correct implants and biomaterials we are increasingly achieving the all in one surgery.

I am Daniel Villaseñor Sanchez, a Periodontist and implantologist from Mexico City. I grow up watching my dad who is an Orthodontist, working and being passionate about his job. That’s how I knew I wanted to be a dentist also. I finished dental school at UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico) and I was very curious about learning how to manage dental emergencies, that’s how I ended up being Emergency Medical Technician and Firefighter for some years. Between those years I begin my studies in Periodontics and implantology also at UNAM, that’s when I knew about ITI. When I finished my degree I begin collaborating with Straumann and Botiss as speaker and Young Expert. When I was 19 I begin working in the development of my project, which has been changing over the years. Black Clinic is my private practice in Mexico City, I try to make it simple, passionate and full of creativity. We try to learn from every experience such as this. Our goal in the near future is to be able to create even more simpler but predictable approaches to treat patients. To learn to use biology in the most efficient and creative manner. And in the future, who knows where is the limit.
