Furkan Özay was born in Kayseri, Turkey, in 1996. He completed his primary and secondary education in Konya. In 2013, he came to Istanbul after being accepted to Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry. From 2013 to 2018, he actively participated in research clubs. In 2018, he wrote his master’s thesis on “Oral Effects of Head and Neck Cancers.” He graduated from dentistry in 2018. In 2019, he started his doctoral education in the Department of Oral Implantology at Istanbul University. During these years, he continued to practice dentistry in various clinics. In 2022, under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Selim Ersanlı, he began researching the thesis titled “Retrospective Analysis of Dental Implant Applications after Sinus Lifting.” Throughout his doctoral education, he became a member of the ITI Study Club and actively participated in its meetings. In his routine practice, he specializes in implant applications, all-on-four treatments, sinus lifting procedures, and aesthetic dentistry.”
